Recording Studio Experience Days: This two-hour recording studio experience, in Portsmouth, is a chance to emulate your musical heroes! Record your favourite song in a high-spec studio, and have a professional sound engineer edit, mix, and master it for you!

The experience takes place in one of the city’s top recording facilities. On arrival at this state-of-the-art studio, you’ll be met by a friendly sound engineer, who’ll guide you through the process. You’ll have submitted your song in advance, but will now discuss your hopes for the session. Next, you’ll be shown to the live room, where you’ll have time to perform a warm up take, before recording begins. After three real-deal takes, you’ll join the engineer in the control room. Here, you’ll select the best parts of each recording, to create a complete vocal track. After any tuning or vocal effects have been added, your vocals will be mixed with the backing track and, finally, mastered. After two hours, you’ll leave with a polished, professional recording – feeling every bit the next pop star in waiting!
