Arts and Crafts Experience Days: The perfect experience for anyone with a creative flair; this Beginners Jewellery Making Class makes a great gift for those who wish to learn how to make their own stacking rings. This three hour experience will teach you all there is to know about working with silver and creating two beautiful handmade rings.
Your day will begin at the jewellery studio where you'll meet Sarah, the jeweller who will be leading your experience. Starting with the basics, you'll learn to fabricate two sterling silver stacking rings, with which you can choose the ideal size and cut using various professional tools, including a jewellers saw. You'll then move on to filing, annealing, plying and pickling the silver after which you'll solder the ring to form its shape. Other techniques will be involved including hammering with mallets and a ring mandrel in order for the rings to take their form. Once you have completed shaping the rings, it will be time to polish them for a perfect finish. Whether you make your rings for yourself or someone else, this is a great way to develop your jewellery making skills and knowledge.
With tea, coffee and biscuits included in your class, you'll be in excellent hands as you enjoy a relaxing day getting crafty. This Beginners Jewellery making class in Cambridgeshire makes an ideal gift for a Birthday, Anniversary or Engagement gift or even a treat to yourself!
When can you book Cambridgeshire Ring Stacking Jewellery Class
Sessions run from Monday to Saturday, year round and between 10am to 5pm.
In the months of April to September, an evening session from 6pm to 9pm will also run.
