You can never go wrong with chocolate... chocolate truffles, chocolate mousse or chocolate tart, we love it all here at Experience Days! Chocolate Collective hosts some delicious chocolate workshops in various UK locations. We've asked them a few questions to learn a bit more about the chocolate industry and their chocolate workshops.

    How did Chocolate Collective begin?

In 2013 my daughter, Sophie, wanted a childrens' chocolate party.  After lots of searching in Manchester, I noticed a gap in the market so I seized the opportunity and Chocolate Collective was born.

What can we expect to learn from your chocolate classes?

The workshops are fun, interactive, teach new skills about chocolate and how to make 30-50 handmade beautiful Belgian dark chocolate truffles.

What is your favourite chocolate truffle flavour combination?

Belgian milk chocolate and raspberry. The workshops are fun, interactive, teach new skills about chocolate and how to make 30-50 handmade beautiful Belgian dark chocolate truffles.

What is the strangest flavour combination you have tried?

    Rose

What makes your chocolate classes different to others?

Any age group including children aged 10+, men and women love the workshop, men especially. Any gender.

People with any physical disability including blind and deaf people can take part. The chocolate workshops are suitable for vegan or lactose intolerant, kosher and people who don't drink alcohol due to religion.

People can come along by themselves; they don't need to attend with someone, as they will always meet and chat to other people due to how the session is run. Teenagers can be dropped off and attend by themselves.

What is the most interesting chocolate trend you have seen?

Ruby chocolate. It's relatively new to the market but interesting products are being made with it.

    Thanks for reading!

We'd like to say a massive thank you to Louise from Chocolate Collective for giving us some fun insight into the chocolate industry. We hope we can come and make some truffles with you soon!
