EXPERT INTERVIEW WITH TRURO PAINTBALL

As the name suggests, this experience is located in the Cornish city of Truro. Paintballing is great fun for everybody, and using the most up to date equipment, Truro Paintball make sure their events are extra special. Here I’ve been talking to Abi about the experiences they have to offer.

1) Please explain your journey as ‘Truro Paintball’ so far.

Well I have always been interested in adrenaline fuelled sports and trained as an outdoor pursuits instructor, from there I changed location and moved to Newquay and become very involved with individuals and companies organising activities / dining out for hen and stag groups. I then become a wedding co-ordinator for 8 years.

My parents own a farm based just outside of Truro (where I grow up) and I felt with the contacts I have created over the years and where the site is located this was the perfect opportunity to set my own business up.

I am very energetic, hard working and passionate about anything I put my mind to and feel it’s very important to get as many companies and local businesses working together to create a great experience for my customers.

It’s a great business, you meet all walks of life, and there are so many different reasons why they have chosen to try paintballing from groups of disadvantaged children to professional players.

2) What has been the biggest or most memorable event you’ve provided?

Due to being relatively new to the industry and just setting up, and taking on the tasks of designing game zones, meeting companies and customers has been a highlight in itself.

3) Is there any inside information you can give us?

Truro paintball love to welcome an age or ability to play and experience an adrenaline fuelled game, we unlike some other sites don’t have a fixed game duration, people can simply come in for 10am or 1pm and go as they please.

Packages are simple, pay for the paint as you play or buy in bulk, most customers like to start with paint so the silver or gold package is popular.

4) Do you have any exciting plans for the future that you’d like to tell us about?

We are looking to have the zones flood lit so evening bookings can be an option.
