This unique gin afternoon tea experience will begin as you step on board the stunning red vintage Routemaster bus. Here, you’ll be shown to your seats for the journey. You can get settled in and enjoy the view from the window; it’ll only get better as the route continues, taking in the many gorgeous sights of Edinburgh! Next, you’ll be served your afternoon tea. Enjoy perfectly baked scones with jam and fresh whipped cream, along with a selection of freshly-made finger sandwiches featuring seasonal fillings, mini quiches, Scottish smoked salmon blinis, a selection of petit fours, mini Victoria sponges and meringues. It wouldn’t be an afternoon tea without – well – the tea, so enjoy unlimited tea and coffee, plus your elegant gin cocktail. Your cocktail will be served, appropriately, in an ornate clear tea pot, and made using aromatic herbs and artisanal gin (Scottish, naturally). While you devour your feast, you’ll be treated to on-board commentary from your guide, who will fill you in on the rich history of Edinburgh!
