Culinary Classes Experience Days: Head to a sheep farm in rural Glasgow to watch haggis-making demonstration, followed by a freshly prepared lunch with all the trimmings!
You’ll begin your experience on arrival at the sheep farm in Glasgow. There, you’ll be given a warm, local welcome by your guide. They’ll show you around the farm, before giving you an introduction to the delicious local dish of haggis. Find out its origins, and its link to the mythical creature of the same name from Scottish folklore. You’ll then be given a cup of tea or coffee and a traditional Scottish shortbread to kick off the demonstration. The expert haggis maker will begin demonstrating how to create haggis from scratch, explaining each ingredient that gives it its distinct flavour. You’ll also learn how to make all the traditional accompaniments that round off the dish. Finally, you’ll sit down to a full, freshly prepared haggis lunch with all the trimmings. A perfect end to a perfect day!
This haggis making demonstration and lunch makes a unique gift for anyone who loves to try new dishes, and is the perfect addition to a day out in Glasgow.
