Pub Tour Experience Days: Explore over 300 years of pub and brewing heritage in Leeds and enjoy drinks on the Leeds Heritage Pub Guided Tour for Two.
This award-winning tour takes people on a journey through time, visiting iconic heritage venues and hearing stories about the people and events that shaped the history of pubs and breweries in the city, with some general city history included too.
The venues visited are The Tetley, the former headquarters for Tetley Brewery, Adelphi and Duck and Drake, two Victorian built pubs, the White Swan with its inspiring musical history, and Whitelock’s Ale House, founded in 1715. Along the way, tales include the history of Tetley Brewery, one pub’s association with the ‘Yorkshire Witch’, the Victorian landlord who was a ‘flamboyant showman’ and lots more.
Guests can also enjoy activities whilst on the tour and take part in a Ghost Pub crawl, passing buildings that used to be pubs and the architectural secrets they hide that prove this. Drinks are included at each stop, and the options are half a pint of draught ale, lager, or cider, or for non-drinkers either soft drinks or alcohol-free beer. Five drinks in total.
So why not join your guide in experiencing the enchantment of Leeds' beer culture. This Leeds Heritage Beer Tour is the perfect experience gift for all beer enthusiasts. Dive into the city's lively past and delectable beer scene for an unforgettable day!
