Jumping from a height of around 15,000ft, you'll experience somewhere near 60 seconds of free fall before the instructor deploys the parachute - ready to begin around 6-7 minutes of parachuting back to earth with the most incredible views of the Lincolnshire countryside all around you. The immense adrenaline rush combined with the unique nature of free fall make this tandem skydiving experience an absolute must - and worth travelling for!
Your tandem skydive in Lincoln will begin when you sign the registration documents at Hibaldstow Airfield, before moving into the classroom to start a 20 minute training session consisting of watching a video on the techniques and safety aspects of skydiving. Then, once briefed you'll move to the practice mats for a lesson in where to put your limbs and head throughout the dive, before donning the safety gear and making your way to the plane ready for take off. On the airfield, you'll be strapped to your instructor's back and begin your ascent to 15,000ft - ready to take the highest tandem skydive in the UK! Once at the desired height, an instructor will open the height and begin the skydiving! Sat in two rows on the floor of the plane, you will shuffle your way to the hatch ready to dangle your legs over the edge - where the views of the Lincolnshire countryside and the carpet of clouds is quite incredible! Throughout the jump the instructor is in charge, and he will roll forward to begin the jump and then open the parachute after around 60 seconds of free fall - ready to begin around 6-7 minutes of gently parachuting back to earth. Once landed, you can remove the safety clothes and pick up your certificate - ready to go home with one scratched off the bucket list!
