I really enjoyed the tour and learning more about the Beattles. I took the tour in conjunction with the National Trust Tour of the interior of the Beatles childhood homes. My only concern which could have been a serious problem was that the locat Tour Agency, Evan Evans, did not book my bus tour with them for the afternoon as discussed with Viator. They claimed that Viator did not inform them, and that there was nothing that they could do. I was lucky in that one seat was available for the afternoon tour and I was able to make the change myself. Otherwise I would not have been able to take the tour that I paid for, as I had a morning tour with the National Trust Tour. Evan Evans did not care about what had happened, would not assist me, and they were half an hour late in meeting us at the train station in Liverpool. I would be interested to know if Viator actually told Evan Evans to book the afternoon tour as I had discussed with them, or as Evan Evans indicated, that Viator never told Evan Evans.

This tour is a must see for any Beatles fan. It was nice to have some free time in Liverpool before the tour started. The Beatles Story museum was well done, we were very impressed. On the actual tour, the guide was great. He knew a lot of Beatles history and shared great anecdotes. The stops along the tour hit all the highlights and being able to see Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, the Cavern Club and the neighborhoods were The Beatles grew up was a priceless experience.

This was a fun day trip from London. The Beatles museum is full of fun artifacts and treasures to keep any Beatles fan happy. You can take it all in at your own pace. Later you join a guided tour of the key sites in Liverpool where the Beatles lived and played. The guides were entertaining and full of juicy information. We even did an impromptu sing-along with everyone on the tour bus. It was well worth the time and money.

This was honestly a great little package. We did this for my boyfriends 30th birthday and he had the best time. It was even a great experience for myself even though I’m not a die-hard fan like him. I would suggest going to the museum first thing because it can take a bit of time getting into the museum. There are other museums unrelated to the Beatles but that are pretty great close by that are free that I recommend checking out. Also, they started taking the bus to a different penny lane sign so when you get there run down the street to get a picture of the sign signed by Paul himself!!

The Beatles Story, Magical Mystery Tour, and train ride was great. We had a fantastic time. The agent we met at Euston Train Station gave us an inadequate map and told us we were on our own. Fortunately, we were able to purchase a good map of Liverpool at the train station. The walk from the train station was confusing, but there were signs pointing to Albert Dock, and it is hard to miss. Once we found everything, the visit was very good. We enjoyed the visit to the Cavern Club. There is a very good Irish Pub with good prices past the Cavern Club. Our train ride going and returning was very pleasant.

This tour brought back a lot of memories and I enjoyed it immensely. I found that instructions as to where to go and what to do were too few and at times I felt lost, but I managed to see what I wanted to see. It would be nice if Liverpool actually put more signage up so it was easier to find places. The map we were given was a tad confusing.

Tour guide met us at Euston Station right on time and provided us everything we needed for a successful day trip. If you're a Beatles fan, this trip is worth it for the Magical Mystery Tour alone seeing each lad's childhood home, where John and Paul first met, The Cavern Club, and just the sites of Liverpool with an awesome guide was so much fun! The Beatles Story Museum is full of mostly replicas and just a history of the group, nothing too exciting if you already know everything about The Beatles. Timeline of events allows you to fully enjoy everything without feeling rushed.

Oh my gosh! What can I say about this tour????? FANTASTIC! Up super early, get on the tube, head to Euston Rail Station, and 2 1/2 hours later you are walking through the streets of Liverpool. The street signs are really easy to follow,,head to Albert Dock and you are at the Beatles Story, the best museum in the world for Beatles fans. The train gets to town around 9:30. It's about a 20 minute walk to the museum and then you will have a good 2-3 hours to see all there is, shop for souvenirs, and grab some lunch in their cafe. At 2:00, you board the bus for the Magical Mystery Tour...Penny Lane, Beatles childhood homes, Strawberry Field iron gates, and lastly, The Cavern on Mathew Street. You can actually sit an listen to performers in The Cavern as you sip a drink or grab a sandwich before you head back toward Lime Street Rail Station for the train ride home at 6:30. The William Gladstone pub is right across the street from the end of Mathew Street...super cheap fish and chips and really good. It's a fantastic tour to take. The day is filled with everything you would want to see of the Beatles and their hometown.

This trip is worth it for true Beatles fans. The train ride to Liverpool was nice. Once there, you walk to the dock, spend anywhere from 1-2 hours at the Beatles Story (like a museum/tribute). That had some really good info. Some of it was a bit confusing/out of order. Then you take a bus tour around Liverpool seeing various members houses, and famous landmarks like Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. Our guide, Dale, was exceptional. He made that tour better than it actually was. The best part was ending up on Matthew street and hanging out at The Cavern. It happened to have been International Beatles week when we were there, so I think that’s why it was so awesome. The negative of the trip was as a person who gets a bit of motion sickness and can’t ride backwards on a train, the company books you seats without asking any questions. I had to find new seats once on the train. They also don’t give specific enough instructions on where to meet in the train station. I had to call prior to the trip. All in all, it was a great trip

A great trip for anyone who has an interest in The Beatles and has read up on them as seeing the places etc makes it more meaningful. Loved it. I would suggest that although the lady who met us at the station was most pleasant and helpful her actual lack of knowledge and experience needs to be addressed, having not been on the trip herself. For my part I would suggest that a person needs to put aside at least 2 to two and half hours for the Beatles experience if not more to throughly appreciate it. Then maybe a suggested plan walk through the cIty with an apprpiate map. This would help reinforce images of the history of The Beatlles enviroment for extra research. Coming from South Africa and doing additional reading on the Beatles it would really assist people really interested in there history. The guides on the bus were really great and knew their stuff. Maybe an extension to where Paul was ACTUALLY born as well, a description of the route taken by bike over the golf course between John and Paul and on my proposed self walk guide in the city one or 2 places the 4 frequented. Great.

My wife and two adult children took this day trip at the end of August. It was fantastic. The Beatles Story is exceptionally well done. We spent approximately 2.5 hours there. Could have spent more. The Magical Mystery Tour was great. We had a terrific guide. Sadly I do not remember his name. He was funny, insightful and told some great Beatle stories. Be prepared. It is a long day. This was one of the most disorganized tours I have ever been on. The operators were hard to get in touch with, and did not give good directions for meeting points or anything. in fact, I missed the first train and the ticket master at the train station in. Thoroughly enjoyable. We opted for the first class train tickets, which was a wonderful treat. Really treated well, with beverages, full meals and attentive service and wonderfully comfortable seats. The Beatles Story and the Magical Mystery (Bus) Tour were very enjoyable. The town shopping/central district is right between the train station and the docks (where the Beatles Story exhibition is located) is very pleasant and you can walk right past (or right into) the famous Cavern Club, where live music still plays every day.
Very enjoyable. Highly recommended for any level of Beatles fan!

The trip was wonderful and we really enjoyed the Magical Mystery Tour and the museum. It was just enough time to see everything and do everything without being rushed. It's convenient to have everything organized for you, but honestly, it would have been just the same if we had booked it on our own. The lady we met at Euston station didn't arrive until 6:30 and we were a bit nervous since we were told to arrive 10 minutes early and didn't know when the train left, and the map they gave us was worthless--printed off of Google maps or something. There's a coin operated machine in Liverpool Lime Street Station where we picked up a good map for a pound. Since it's a self-guided tour, there's really no point in booking through a tour company--just get the train tickets, tour tickets, and museum tickets on your own.

BR-654504995 - First this booking start was from Euston train station at 650 am, which you needed to be 10-min early. No big deal, I was literally staying 5-10 minutes from the station. However, when I arrived at 0630 - I could not find the person responsible for the tour. Neither could the assistant from the Euston Station ticket booth. No one answered calls to the number on the voucher, and VIATOR does not have ANY immediate contact numbers listed on their website. I had FIRST CLASS SEATS. I WAS IN THE STATION. HOW MESSED UP IS IT THAT I HAD TO WATCH THE TRAIN LEAVE WITHOUT ME? I certainly couldn't afford to purchase train tickets without a tour discount. It would have been so much easier if the ticket vouchers were electronic, but they were not. Unfortunately, I feel that this will also fall on deaf ears. I guess thereis always a glitch occasionally, and I must be it this time.

We took this tour on Saturday July 1st, 2017. Everything went off without a hitch and was very enjoyable. Be aware, however, that you are paying 180.00 per person for what amounts to about 100 worth of tickets. There is no guide - someone meets you at the train station and hands you an envelope with tickets for the train, The Beatles Story and the Cavern Club Bus Tour, all of which are available online separately. Save serious cash by setting this up yourself! You can do it no problem.
