We had a fantastic tour. Excellent tour of the sights of London with a brilliant tour guide. Getting to see the Changing of the Guard was fun and carried out with military procession enabling us to witness three different aspects of it. Couldn't quite believe how lovely the boat was for the river cruise - after which we were transferred to Buckingham Palace and ushered straight to the entrance effortlessly - we then enjoyed a visit to the State Rooms. Really enjoyed the whole tour experience and excellent value for money. Special thanks to our guide.

First, the meeting place is inside the coach station sharing one gate with 7 different tours. Boarding is a chaos, if you don't pay attention to the announcement in the noisy background, you will have no idea when to board. Secondly, we sat on the upstairs front, the tour guide only speak at the back with one tiny speaker, the engine noise is so loud and the window shakes make you impossible to hear what he said. Thirdly, after the boat tour, the group split into 3 and they all going to different places. Before leaving the bus, the tour guide start asking for tips already. We join the Buckingham tour, they just kick us off the bus so the other group can move on. So we need to stand on the street to wait for the Buckingham tickets. then you are on your own. If this is what you want, then join this tour.

The tour was good except the outline of tour changed and we were told we had to wait 3 hours from completion of tour at 11.30am to 2.30pm to go into the Buckingham Palace section of tour. Very disappointing as I was jetlagged and could no wait that long so missed out on this section that I was really looking forward to. The main reason I booked was that it was a morning tour and I would have afternoon to do my own thing.

Peter our tour guide kept reminding us how this was his day off and he shouldn’t have taken this shift. Often saying how miserable it was to be there. The cruise was mostly a waste. Seemed very rushed. A group of women did not know they had to tell Peter they were seeing the London Eye after. Peter starting yelling at them telling them they should have told him sooner. He basically told them the best he could do for them was getting off the bus now and walking. After they left, he was putting them down to the tour. Not professional at all. Made several comments that were inappropriate for children. Did not represent tour company well and did not make anyone excited to be there.

My husband and I had just 2 full days in London so this excursion was perfect for us. Nick our tour guide made the tour even greater with his theatrical input in describing the history of London and its attractions. We only touched the surface on The Tower if London. Very interesting. We will come back and do it on it own. We feel like we got to know London with Nick’s insite and in deapt knowledge about the city and its attractions. The Changing of the Guards and Buckingham Palace was better than I had expected. It is a very Real exoerience being in the staterooms the Queen uses for visits by head of state and other important events like giving out medals of honors, Garden Parties etc.

Excellent tour. Gavin our guide was exceptional. He made a drama of the whole experience. His knowledge of London and delivery of it was incredible, entertaining, and most enjoyable for the whole family. This is a great way to get a taste of all the main attractions in central London in a couple of hours. Included was a trip up the Thames giving an alternative view at all the attractions. The changing of the guard as a spectacle was fantastic and enriched by Gavin’s commentary not only for ourselves in his group but for all in earshot. Thanks for a wonderful day today.

the tour was good except for the Buckingham palace changing of the guard time. Our guide was difficult to understand his English, but he had us in front of the gate, and then had us move with the marching band crowd to march with the band. My husband was pushed to the ground, scraped his fingers bloody, hand, scraped the camera lense and his glasses all ruined. The crowd was overwhelming and we did not get to see the changing of the guard or the marching, as too many people were there and I could not see anything. this was not good of our guide to have us do this. Buckingham palace was incredible, but it was raining and we could not see the gardens. Also the Muse was not included in our tour, cost extra and we were not happy with that

Well organised tour, perfect way to see the sights from the top of a double decker bus! It was great to hop on and off the bus to see the sights. The tour guide told various stories on and off the bus and on the river cruise on the Thames: a fascinating way to see London - Westminster, bridges galore, buildings old and new. Fantastic. Buckingham Palace was a highlight - the architecture, the paintings, the ceilings, the carpets, the opportunity to walk through the royal rooms, seeing gifts presented to The Queen during her reign. Highly recommend this tour.

We were a group of 6 who, honestly, primarily selected the tour so we could tour Buckingham Palace (it was sold out on other venues). We were pleasantly surprised! While the queuing to board the bus was a bit chaotic, we soon forgot that as our tour guide (who sounded a lot like Tim Wonnacott) told us about many London landmarks with great theatre and enthusiasm. We took the tour on Monday and were treated to being able to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace (check dates this happens, as it is not every day). The boat tour on the Thames was a high point for me - very comfortable and informative. The tour guide and assistant did a good job managing schedule demands brought on by unscheduled road closures - though we had to hurry a bit at the Tower of London. The tour guide communicated well what we needed to do to get around with a very positive attitude (i.e., their directions were clear). All-in-all I would recommend this to someone wanting to see the major landmarks plus the self-guided tour of Buckingham Palace. One note: two patrons became upset when they did not get their same seats after touring the Tower of London. Seats were not assigned and I do not think that once you sit in a seat that you should expect to be seated there again. We also ended up waiting for one recalcitrant individual who got lost during the changing of the guard. The guides were polite and worked to repatriate that person with the bus (I might have been tempted to leave that person as she ignored the guide and went off to see part of the changing of the guard she was told not to; as a result she got lost). A lovely tour! One bit of advice - you will be done with your Buckingham Palace tour around 2:30 pm. Plan ahead on what you will do with the rest of your day if you are only there for a day (as we were). If you make your way to Victoria Station you will find food for a quick bite near the station. We wanted to see Westminster Abbey but it closed at 3:30 - we ended up taking the tube over to the British Museum and had a wonderful hour and a half there before it closed.

The tour was okay. Nice to get a layout of the city and take the river cruise. We added Buckingham place to our day. However due to how they schedule we had a 3 hr gap between the bus tour and the palace tour. We had other plans for the afternoon we had to cancel as the booking said a different time. Would have just bought the palace tickets on our own and not wasted time waiting. Can't have guides in the palace anyways it all audio tours.

Our tour guide (older gentleman with silver hair carrying a pink duster) was funny, knowledgeable, and really cared that us tourists went away with a positive view of the city. I am sorry for writing in English. Four tickets were purchased for my French speaking guests. They enjoyed the tour but were unable to hear a single word through the headphones. The loudspeaker used by the guide in English completely drowned out the sound from their headphones. They have been on a similar tour in Paris where everyone wore headphones and so everyone could hear. I am very disappointed. They enjoyed Buckingham Palace but I had to look up photos on the Internet to show them which buildings were which in London as they could not hear the commentary.

My friend and I recently took part of this tour and have nothing negative to say. Even in the rain, the bus tour was a blast and the Thames River cruise (30min) was a pleasant addition which gave us a different perspective of London. The tour was well organized, and the staff (Steve, Kevin and Katrina) were incredibly helpful. Extra credit goes to the animator, Steve, for sharing his vast knowledge of London and adding a comical twist to the tour! We recommend this tour hands down. Just don’t forget your rain jacket/umbrella!
