Afternoon Tea Experience Days: Anyone for afternoon tea? During this fabulous cooking class in Gloucestershire, you’ll learn to prepare one yourself. Join an experienced pastry chef for a three-hour masterclass in scones, macarons, cucumber sandwiches and more!
The experience takes place at one of region’s top cookery schools, where you’ll be greeted on arrival by Andy—the resident pastry chef. He’ll welcome you to the school and introduce the afternoon tea menu. Over the course of the lesson, you’ll learn to prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries and sandwiches—including old favourites, like French macarons, orange madeleines, fresh fruit tarts, Pimm’s scones and, of course, cucumber sandwiches! Chef will demonstrate each new technique and offer tips for getting the best out of your ingredients. When everything’s ready, you’ll head to the dining room for your very own afternoon tea, complete with a tea of your choice. Trust us, everything tastes better when you’ve made it yourself!
