This is a history day tour examining the rise of longshot contender Henry Tudor from humble Pembroke origins to taking the crown in battle to become King Henry VII - the founder of a Tudor dynasty that included Henry VIII (liked wives), Queen Elizabeth (Virgin Queen) and Queen “Bloody” Mary.
The Highlights of this Day Tour includes Pembroke Castle (where Henry lived and was born), Llamphey Palace (where Henry was likely conceived , the Glorious Town of Tenby to see Henry’s escape to Brittany and finally Carew Castle, home of the last Royal Tournament and mustering point for Henry’s supporters on their march to defeating Richard III at Bosworth in 1485.
