i360 is a must-do when visiting Brighton, and we were finally able to experience it today! The attraction is a 25-minute flight and is situated right in the middle of Brighton beach, where all the magic happens.

After showing our booking ticket to a member of staff, we were directed to a green screen photoshoot where a photographer guided us through 3 different photo poses! For safety reasons, we then went through security and were guided to The Departure Lounge. There, we sat back and relaxed in front of the beautiful view of the beach before being called for take-off. Food and drinks are also available for an additional cost.

Boarding the futuristic attraction was very welcoming. While opera music played in the background, staff invited us into the pod. A spacious bar with loads of champagne was at our disposal, as well as a comfortable seating area. We finally made it onto the i360 and were ready to experience the attraction.

Taking off, we were slowly elevated over the heights of Brighton, and commenced our 25-minute flight! Members of staff pointed out some locations, such as Beachy Head and the South Downs, and we were able to see the rail station and the Experience Days office. It was terrifyingly amazing that we could see how big the city was, and how small everyone looked.

Once at the top, the pod stayed still for a good 5 minutes for everyone to take pictures while walking around the attraction, because the view was breathtaking. After taking pictures and walking around, we slowly descended back to the ground, right under The Departure Lounge where the gift shop, restaurant and exits are located.

On the way out of the pod, a staff member welcomed us with our green screen photoshoot pictures in a mini photo album (£20) with a keyring and a magnet for us to enjoy and laugh about! We later were directed to go through the gift shop, which offered a great variety of souvenirs at affordable prices such as mugs, bracelets, and wine.

Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we recommend trying it out. We felt it was suitable for all ages, as it was breathtaking experience being so high in the sky whilst also admiring such a beautiful view!

    Thanks for reading!

Don’t miss out on this one!
