LONDON FASCINATOR MAKING EXPERIENCE WITH AFTERNOON TEA EXPERIENCE DAYS REVIEW
I’m not the best at arts and crafts, and I wasn’t sure how this Fascinator Making Experience would pan out. However, I was definitely ready to give it a go!
This fabulous fascinator experience is in a brilliant central location. From Vauxhall Station, it was only a short walk along the Thames – we even had a chance to take pictures of Big Ben!
On arrival, we buzzed the right apartment and made our way inside. Our host, Sarah, was extremely welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. On the table, at the centre of the dining room, were a variety of accessories with which to decorate our creations. There were feathers, beads, flowers, ribbons, buttons, butterflies, and more!
We took our seats as the other participants began to arrive. It was a small group, which meant we could get to know everyone and Sarah had plenty of time to help each of us.
After admiring some previous participant’s creations, we were ready to begin! Feeling inspired, I immediately picked a cream base, while Bex chose black. We could then get creative – adding feathers, beads, and lace for extra height.
As we sowed our masterpieces together, Sarah kindly began making tea and preparing finger sandwiches and scones. These were then placed in the centre of the table on dainty china plates. They looked delicious – I only wish there were a few more cakes!
While tucking in to our afternoon tea, Bex and I continued to work on our fascinators. I found it really therapeutic and couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed the experience as a whole. My arts and crafts side appeared again! Sarah was very helpful when it came to the trickier parts and you could tell she loves sharing her impressive skills and knowledge with others.
Once we were finished, we were given a gift bag to take our fascinators home in. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would love to visit again at some point!
A massive thank you to Sarah Brice for having us!
