Driving Experience Days: Learn to drive like a Hollywood stunt double on this incredible
one-to-one experience that will have you throwing a variety of
purpose-built cars into the most extraordinary movements
imaginable. Grow more and more daring as your confidence thrives on
the safe controlled environment around and by the end of this
unforgettable experience you will be combing your new skills into a
high speed drive around the track!
Once you arrive at the centre you will be given a full safety
briefing before the real fun begins... the driving! You will be
given a quick introduction to handbrake turns before manoeuvring a
full 360degree spin! After perfecting these, you will perform a
high-speed parallel park and a 180degree flick (J-Turn). You will
then take a short break before resuming with a stunt routine
shoot-out where you get to try-out all your new skills. With the
most incredible stunt saved for last, you will then drive the
Mini... on two wheels! Your unforgettable experience will draw to a
close with the presentation of certificates to all participating
drivers.
When can you book Gloucestershire Full-Works Stunt Driving Course
The Full Works Stunt Driving Experience runs on limited days at Prescott Speed Hill Climb in Cheltenham. This is a seasonal experience and will generally cease to run over the winter. Booking is recommended well in advance, as this is very popular.

Maximum Height: 6’ 5"
Maximum Weight: 20 Stone
All participants need a basic level of clutch control to drive the
car.
All participants must be in good health and mobility, and have good
vision.

We were recently speaking with Stunt Drive UK, the UK’s first stunt driving operator! Read on to discover the history behind this company and what they’re all about.
Hey there! Please could you tell us a bit about the history of the company or how these experiences began?
Stunt Drive UK started to offer experience days in 2007, after the two directors identified a clear gap in the experience day market. No other company was offering stunt driving experience days within the UK. The company originally started up with three cars and two instructors, and has developed to now use a total of 18 cars at four venues with a team of over 30 trained stunt driving instructors.
So there’s been a large expansion within the company, that’s great! What encouraged your passion for Stunt Driving?
A lot of the manoeuvres involved in stunt driving are based on a form of motorsport called Autotesting. Alastair Moffatt, one of the company founders, is an eleven times national Autotest champion, so stunt driving was simply a clear development of his competition.
The customers will be in good hands then. What would you say is the best thing about the experiences you offer?
We love taking a customer who is nervous or can’t drive and help them overcome their concerns to really enjoy their time with us. For example, we have had customers who have come to us after being involved in a road traffic accident and have lost all of their confidence, but have left us having reignited their enjoyment of driving.
What makes your driving experiences different to others?
There are so many ways that we are different from other driving experiences. We only employ people we like, we teach customers to use the car in a real life situation, we allow customers to drive cars on two wheels and rev the engines up to about 6,000rpm!

Our experiences are suitable for anyone aged 13 to 75 years who is in good health. We require no driving licenses and no previous driving experience.
Have you got any new exciting news to share with us?
Christmas 2015 sees us launch our Teen Stunt Driving Packages, which are the first stunt driving experiences designed for teenagers in the UK. We teach a wide range of skills, starting with the basics of clutch control and ending with driving a car on two wheels.

Questions about Gloucestershire Full-Works Stunt Driving Course
This experience is hard to measure in time. It does not focus on how
long you will get in the car, instead, it is more to do with the amount
of manoeuvres you do and how long it takes for you to master them. The
whole experience will last approximately 2 hours.
This is a seasonal experience and will generally cease to run over the winter months.
They don't tend to run over the winter months, and dates are released towards the end of the year. They usually start in March or slightly later.
For the Full Works Stunt Driving Course you don't need a licence so should be okay.
The minimum age for this experience is 14 (Parental consent required for under 18's). Therefore 17 year olds are fine to participate!
There is no upper age limit.
