On Saturday 7th July 2018, it'll be World Chocolate Day! So, in celebration, we wanted to share with you our top 7 very chocolatey experiences. With experiences located in London, Brighton, Winchester, Glasgow, York and more, you're bound to find one near you. We've included a whole range of experiences - including chocolate-making workshops, a chocolate tour, a chocolate supper and an exciting treasure hunt - so keep on reading to find out more... I would warn you now though; after reading this article, you're guaranteed to be very tempted to eat a piece/bar of chocolate!

1. Luxury Wine, Cheese and Chocolate
Tasting For Two

A night of pure indulgence, as you and a friend visit the 5* 8 Northumberland Avenue in the heart of London for an evening of wine, cheese, and chocolate tasting. Not only will you be tasting the award-winning wines, but you’ll be learning what food to pair with them, as you try the scrumptious selection of food samples laid out for you. To make this sound even more tempting, the entire experience is currently on offer at better than half price.

2. Brighton Chocolate Making Workshop

If you’re an extreme chocolate lover, then just wait until you hear what's included in this very chocolatey experience. During the 2.5 hour workshop, you’ll watch the expert guide create the chocolates and then it’s your turn to get involved. You’ll start with making giant chocolate buttons, that you then get to decorate and put your own unique design on. Then you’ll be making truffles made from glossy chocolate ganache, mouth-watering melted chocolate, milk chocolate praline and add your favourite flavours and decorations. To take your chocolates home at the end, you’ll be given a beautiful bag with ribbon-ties, so you can either decide to eat them yourself or give them as a gift for a loved one to appreciate your amazing chocolate-making skills.

3. Mayfair London Chocolate Tour For Two

Calling our chocoholics, want to know where the best places to go in London are for chocolate treats? Well, during this 3-hour group walking tour, you’ll start by receiving a mug of melted chocolate to enjoy. Then, it’s off to visit a number of delectable chocolatiers, including the oldest chocolate shop in the UK, to try some of the delicious chocolatey samples. Everyone on the tour will be given a VIP discount, so in the likelihood of you wanting more, you’ll be able to buy some chocolate goodies to take home.

4. Winchester Luxury Chocolate Making Workshop

Have you ever made your very own chocolate treats before? Well, during this luxury chocolate making workshop, you’ll be guided by the professional chocolatiers with a live demonstration and then it’s over to you to create the masterpieces. The workshop will take you from molding your chosen shape, piping and finally it’s time to get creative as you decorate the chocolates. At the end of the workshop, everyone will be given a box to fill with your chocolatey treats, so if you don’t end up eating them all on the journey home (because they’re that good), you can enjoy them at home.

5. Chocolate and Champagne Masterclass in Glasgow

Chocolate and champagne masterclass - now we’re talking! This workshop will be run by award-winning chefs in a state of the art kitchen, so you’ll definitely be in the best place to learn how to make the chocolatey desserts. Straight away as you arrive you’ll be handed a glass of champagne and then it’s time to take your seat with the group to tuck into for a delicious meal prepared for you. Then it’s onto dessert, which this time you’ll get to make as you follow the expert guidance of your host chefs. This is a great experience if you'd love to to learn how to make a fantastic dessert guided by expert chefs.

6. Chocolate Supper for Two in York

A Chocolate Supper!? Yes, you did hear that correctly. For once you really don't need to wait until dessert to get your kick of sweetness. During this experience you’ll be tucking into a wonderful cocoa inspired three course meal with your chosen friend in a city famous for it’s sweet heritage. The meal will start with a selection of appetisers and then you’ll be given a menu to pick from either a beef and chocolate stout pie or roast chicken breast served with chocolate wine sauce – sounds intriguing right! Then it’s onto the dessert where you can pick from meringues, truffle tortes or a yummy cake. The chocolate feast doesn’t stop there, as you’ll be served a magnificent mug of hot chocolate. For those looking for an evening experience, then this will be a real treat for you and a friend.

7. London Chocolate Treasure Hunt for Two

Now to end this article we thought we'd save the most unique chocolate experience until last. With chocolate a lot of people say you have to feel like you deserve it to be able to eat it and not feel guilty. So, during this treasure hunt around East London you'll certainly feel the need to be awarded with chocolate, as you complete this timed challenge. With time against you, you'll race around trying to solve clues, collect points and  win awesome prizes. Everyone who participated in the ultimate treasure hunt will get a bag of Belgium chocolates to take away with them. This is a great experience for the adventurous type and for those who also have a sweet tooth.
