Appleby Manor is a traditional Victorian style Manor, with luxurious vintage architecture situated by the mountains of the Lake District. The Appleby Manor Afternoon Tea will provide you with a wide selection of sandwiches, home made soups, cakes and premium teas. Enjoy your afternoon tea in the luscious garden grounds, surrounded by half a million acres of countryside, the light wicker chaired conservatory, or by the open log fire on the comfortable armchairs and sofas. Been twice this year for afternoon tea here and it’s just the best. Really lovely fresh sandwiches and cakes and unlimited tea and coffee. You get 2 hours to eat as well so you don’t feel rushed and you can use your voucher at weekends on...

All the party of 5 enjoyed the experience and would certainly recommend and would return. The reason 4 stars were given is we all would have liked more savoury items sandwiches etc and less cakes. This is just simply an observation, we are all in the Industry and work in Hospitality. The dining area was set out well it was welcoming, bright and we felt at ease. All in all a good experience.

the tea and staff were actually worth a 5 rating but there were several dead flies on the carpet which we felt could have been cleared up.
