Windsor Stonehenge and Oxford Day Tour

Informative and efficiently run highlight tour of 3 iconic British locations. Tour covers a lot of ground so should not expect to see everything. Emily and Paul were great guide and driver combination. Range on the audio system was weak. It was difficult to manage and maintain connection between guide and large group walking cross long blocks. Boarding at Victoria Coach Station is a bit chaotic.

We had an amazing experience with Evan Evans Tours. Claudia was incredibly knowledgeable with a great sense of humor, and she explained all of the sites well. We spent about an hour and a half at each location, and were able to quickly and easily see parts of the country. Claudia made each bit of the drive interesting and informative. It was an enjoyable day trip, and it exceeded our expectations.

This was a great tour. Reese our tour guide and Mike our driver were both very friendly and helpful. Reese was entertaining and informative and very serious about making sure he shared information with us at the site as well as along the way. The trip would have been more enjoyable had it not been for some obnoxious young girls on the trip but that was no fault of the tour operator. Reese managed them quite well which made it a better experience. Thanks for the great trip!

We were extremely disappointed in the tour. We booked and paid for a tour to stonehenge specifically, only to not be told untill the end of the day that it would not go to stonehenge due to the summer solstice and the tour guide was extremely rude and unhelpful.

My husband and I just returned to NY from a wonderful trip to England. The tour we did with Charlotte and Lori, the driver was fabulous. Charlotte was energetic, pleasant and very knowledgeable in all the history of the areas we toured as well as giving us some ideas on places to eat when back in London. We felt very safe with Lori as our driver. I would highly recommend this tour!!

We loved this tour! While we could have spent an entire day in Windsor, we didn't have the time this trip and we really wanted to also see Stonehenge and Oxford. It was a wonderfully efficient tour that allowed us to hit all these highlights. What really made the tour was our guide Phil. So interesting, so full of knowledge and history. If you can, request Phil! A couple of tips: We had the London Pass which allowed us to skip the line at Windsor. This gave us almost an hour more at in the castle than our fellow tour mates. Definitely worth it. Also, if you really want to see more than the streets of Oxford you should take a tour that gets you to Oxford earlier. We arrived in Oxford at 4:30pm/5pm and everything was closed.

Ok lets start by saying that Viator is an intermediary... so you really have to deal with a Company named Evans and Evans who tells you that if you have anything to complain you have to call who sold you the tickets..(now you are in the midle of nowhere and without a phone)... they charge you to get in the Windsor palace, the transport from the Visitors place to the Stonehenge site and Oxford they walk you around.. our guide was a portugese lady that spoke bad spanish and some english.. lost my camara in the bus and called them several times... Call later they said (like you can carry a phone , and is always busy) do you have a Choice????

Great trip we enjoyed Windsor, Stonehenge and Oxford. Driver was very good, his name was Michangelo. Our guide was Salvatore who was very informative and had a sense of humor.
We received all the information we needed about each site. He was also good with reminding us where to meet and what time, we thoroughly enjoyed the day.

My sons ages 25,26 and I took this tour and enjoyed it very much. Windsor Castle was beautiful, we all agreed we wish we could have stayed longer as there was so much to see.
Stonehenge was a must see for me as I was very interested in the history of it all.
Must say Oxford was a waste of time, nothing there.
We had Phil as a guide and without a doubt he was THE BEST I've ever had and I've been on many tours through out Europe as well as in the U.S. He was SO knowledgeable not only about what we were to see but above and beyond. The tour lasted about 9 hours and he spoke to us on the bus almost the whole time. How we came to evolving and having the English language, the history of the English sites not only about what we were to see but pointed out other sites that would be of interest. We were all very impressed with his and I hope you can get him for your tour!
