Your experience begins when you meet the rest of your group and qualified instructors on location in the countryside. Upon arrival, it’ll be time to get kitted out in all the safety equipment needed and start gorge walking! You’ll be climbing through the Cumbrian countryside’s natural gorges, then jumping into pristine pools, sliding down slippery slopes, and getting very, very wet... After around two and half hours of adrenaline packed adventure, your gorge walking experience will come to an end. It'll be time to dry off and head home, leaving you with incredible memories from this ultimate adventure day out.

In order to take part in this activity, all Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25 meters unaided.

Please note that any Participant who is pregnant or suffers from neck, back or heart conditions cannot take part in the Gorge Walking.

What to Wear For This Activity

All the specialist equipment you need will be provided by the venue. This includes wetsuit, helmets and bouyancy aids.

You must bring shoes that you don't mind getting wet, such as old trainers. Please also bring swimwear to wear under your wetsuit, a towel and any medication you may need.(i.e. Inhalers, Epi Pen etc.)
