Similar to rally driving, it involves controlling a powerful car as it slides sideways at high speed through a marked course. It's not all about who finishes first, either - the winner is judged on execution and style and not just speed. Here at Experience Days we have a whole range of thrilling and varied drifting experiences, so whether you have never tried this awesome sport and want to see if it's for you or you want to take your skills to the next level, there's something for everyone here. If you have never tried drifting before, then the Taster Drifting Experience in Hertfordshire is ideal. This superb two hour session will teach you all you need to know about the coolest driving style there is. At a highly regarded motorsport academy just an hour from London's city centre, you will be working with expert instructors and getting behind the wheel of a track-prepared Mazda MX-5. With such expert tuition you will be amazed at how quickly you progress throughout the day, and you'll soon get to grips with drifting techniques including powersliding and oversteering!

If you're really serious about this extreme motorsport, you can enjoy full day drifting courses in Hertfordshire as well. You will enjoy a thorough introduction to this amazing sport and by the end of day will be able to perform drifts at speeds of 40-50mph! Driving in one of the centre’s fantastic drifting cars, you'll be accompanied by experienced instructors at all times and will soon be adept at even the most complicated advance driving skills. You'll experience a full day of sideways fun in a race-ready BMW E46 M3 and can progress at a pace that suits you. With plenty of time to hone your skills you'll quickly grasp understeering, oversteering, and weight transfer dynamics before putting pedal to the metal and trying some high-speed drifting at the end of the day!
